When court proceedings start, affidavit of records or records of evidence and affidavits are required and released by the parties which contain numerous documents. Currently, to date Minister McIver has not provided the Record of Evidence and now the Court had to order him to provide Records of Evidence for our Judicial review. One would have thought the Minister would have had this information at his fingertips for making such a serious decision to remove councilors and after an inspection.

Ric McIver was required to do an affidavit, he had Deputy Minister Sandberg of Municipal Affairs provide the affidavit. This affidavit identified the past council ran a deficit each year and in 2020 had a deficit of over $7,000,000. Council was caught telling the public that the City was doing well and even had a 2% tax cut they claimed. Misleading the public of how dire the situation truly was, losing $7,000,000.

Approx. 5500 signed Petition 2016 to investigate past Council and Cui. Minister determined no action required. All Council never ran again.
Sept 2020 past Council accused of Corruption & Fraud. Minister does nothing.
Feb - Mar 2022 Minister receives only 37 letters from residents, employees & 3 councilors. Identities not confirmed. Yet, inspection ordered??
